Children’s Ministry
Among the highest priorities of Good News Church are our boys and girls.
Families begin Sunday mornings together during the song and Scripture reading portion of our Celebration Service. Children ages 3 through 5th grade are dismissed during the Celebration Service where they start their time together with songs and fun activities. After the opening activities, the teachers take second through fifth grade to another room for the lesson time, while the younger children remain with their teachers. Every Sunday includes time for learning, crafts, singing, and snacks.
We use The Gospel Project curriculum which takes the children through the entire Bible in a four-year period of time. Both classes use chronological lessons as they study the truth of the Scriptures.
A nursery is available for parents with small children to use as needed. There is not a scheduled nursery worker. The service can be watched on the TV set in the nursery.
